Certified Medical Assistant job description (CMA for Chamblee location) This is a temp need for several weeks the day time hours are full-time.

This is a temp position Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:40pm, CMA certification and BLS required. Must have Certification. Spanish and English speaking candidates are Preferred. Pay is based on experience. Must have CPR and MA certification. Back office skills such as Six months to one-year previous experience in health-related area required. Experience in phlebotomy, conducting basic lab procedures, and Medical Assistant education is required. Experience and knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA and CLIA guidelines. Pay is $22.00-$25.00/hour depending on experience.
Provides patient care and or support activities appropriate to all ages served; primarily adults ages 18-65 or geriatric patients ages over 65. May also include care for infant age 0–1-year, child ages 1-12 years or adolescent ages 13-17 years.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School graduate and/or Medical Assistant Diploma with CMA license, minimum of two years computer literacy, EMR experience, Medical Assistant Diploma, Certification is required with BLS experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
One to three years of experience working in a private physicians office or community health center preferred.
Experience and knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA guidelines preferred.
